We are as Snowghost stated volunteers .we do it for love of helping our fellow players out , and as you said acting as a referee in chat and or forums . where we often become disliked .
In regards . to the Admin ships , there are two . the team test ship . which is used for testing issues and problems in game . and the UFo which the Admins fly around to give people a bit of fun .
hmm... so you can use destructive weapons and admins priviledges hereby to get down other (non-admin) players. How about if players feel, that admin behaves unfairly to them or even breaks the rules, who can fine admin then? Other admins (his colleagues)?
Admins/Mods play Normal Accounts. They do not fly around in a UFO when there not modding. UFOs and Test Ships only come out on special occasions, or, to test the game as the name suggests
But, the point is, it's still the same person, regardless of how many accounts he uses. He can choose, whether he shoots other player in non-admin account or shoots the same opponent in a battle with admin UFO or test ship or he can crush him by applying admin privileges... Do you think personaly, it's a fair match if referee (possessing extra admin privileges) competes with other ordinary players (able to use just regular non-admin rights)?
